DDSolar refrigerators and freezers are independently tested and certified:

  1. Re/genT lab (the Netherlands): every model tested against the Global LEAP Off-Grid Refrigerator Test Method v4
  2. Every model is listed on the VeraSol website, which is a single source of truth on DC refrigerator performance
  3. Tested at CPRI (government lab) to IS 1476 for energy consumption, pull-down and volume measurement
  4. Intertek Lab tested for IEC 60335-2-24: Safety of refrigerating appliances
  5. TÜV lab tested for the RoHS Directive (EU) 2015/863 amending 2011/65/EU for hazardous substances
  6. Registered for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) by CPCB for e-waste and battery waste
  7. Registered under the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules with the Department of Consumer Affairs
  8. Winner of the Global LEAP Awards affordability prize (CLASP / Efficiency for Access)
  9. DPIIT-recognised start-up
  10. D-REC registered (PowerTrust)
  11. Three granted Indian patents: 572023 (PayGo refrigerator), 575561 (IoT DC refrigerator) and 593480 (tamper-proof storage)
